A Rainbow for Us remembers twin sisters, Jocelyn and Shaylyn Spurlock of Aurora, Indiana. Known as the "Tornado Twins" or "Double Trouble", the joyful sisters loved to dance and were inseparable. Sadly, on April 8th after serving as flower girls at their mom's wedding 4 days earlier, both girls were found unresponsive in a neighbor's pool in a large collection of water that had gathered on top of their pool’s cover. They were 2 years old.

 

The grim fact is we lose a child a day to unintentional drowning, according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and many families suffer the pain of that loss.     

 

Drowning is PREVENTABLE! Together we can put an end to this trend.
