A Rainbow for Us remembers Takara of Staten Island, New York who passed away on July 22nd. She died as a result of drowning. Takara was 10 years old. 

 

The grim fact is we lose a child a day to unintentional drowning, according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and many families suffer the pain of that loss.

 

Drowning is PREVENTABLE! Together we can put an end to this trend.
